Andy Dean sent a photo of an unidentified butterfly which was a Eyed Brown.=
 This reminded me that about a week ago=2C I found at least 6 in the NE cor=
ner of Miner's Marsh (Kentville). Not unexpected since they are closely ass=
ociated with sedges (Carex) but probably found more in wet meadows & ditche=
s. They appear to be fairly rare in NS.
Easily photographed since they perch a lot which was not the case with the =
numerous skippers in the same area.
