This was a good public accessible though privately owned, way to go. We were entranced by the ants and at one point found a population of jack pine, native not planted, where most individuals had a bank of cones firmly closed..in the fire adapted serotinous state. I agree, this is a wonderful landscape that should catch the imagination of the public: great walking, good views, unique, and it appeals to our African savanna heritage!
