For those who missed it, today=92s Maritime Noo= n on CBC Radio had a very useful segment on this proposal for Green Cove = =97 go to cbc.ca/maritimenoon/ to listen to it. And let=92s all make sure = we send in multiple opinions to Environment Canada/Parks Canada, and solici= t more from folks we know. Inputs should be by June 5 (not June 7 as writt= en in an older message). Share all this widely. When we think of =93prote= cted spaces=94, this is a great example of exactly what this =91protection= =92 should be FROM! (please excuse my poor grammar here?). The promoter an= d the Harperites gave no consideration to the government mandate for the na= tional parks of Canada, namely to somehow balance the preservation of our p= ublic spaces and their natural values with promoting visitation while provi= ding education on those values.=20=20=20 Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
