We have had the occasional June bug for a couple weeks now. I am not =
seeing close to the usual numbers but it is early yet. I will be doing =
some compost screening and some gardening today so should have a better =
idea of the number of larvae in the soil. We did have that invasion (?) =
of Woodcocks and Robins and Crows patrolling ceaselessly any green spot =
in the yard so maybe they have been cleaned up? wouldn=E2=80=99t that be =
nice.=20

Working away on the computer. Unmistakable "ping" of a heavy insect =
hitting the window screen. Took a look, and sure enough, I got a peek at =
my first June Bug of the year! =20

I didn't see many last year. Anyone care to comment on the June-Bug =
forecast?=20

Best,
Ian
