--001a1140863206ec5405169d9db2 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 I saw two Canada Warblers (male and female) while walking along Protection Rd in Pictou County this morning. It was a treat to encounter these birds as this is the first time I've seen them. Not far from where I saw these two warblers I saw my first Ovenbird for the year. I've been hearing them everywhere I go but not actually seeing them until today. The Bobolinks are returning to the Murray farm on the Toney River Rd where they nest each year. Cliff Swallows are also busy building nests under the eaves of the barn on this same property. Some are still a work in progress so it's hard to know how many nests there will be when all is said and done. There were 19 nests last year.
