This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_bMHL6cDM5xnpuYiiFgxMcQ) Content-type: text/plain; CHARSET=US-ASCII; format=flowed Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Pine Warbler, Brown Thrasher and Least Sandpiper Date: Sat, 16 May 2015 19:37:59 -0300 From: Hans <htoom@hfx.eastlink.ca> To: NS-RBA@yahoogroups.com Laura and I spotted one *Pine Warbler* that has returned to the breeding colony(unknown size). I will return in a couple of weeks to listen for singing or observe other nesting behavior. This is the fourth year in a row that they have been found in this location. Nesting behavior has been observed in the previous three years including a sighting of a fledged bird. North of Elderbank on the way to Middle Musquodoboit on Route #357 there was a flyby of a *Brown Thrasher*. We stopped and looked for it but couldn't locate it. At the Brookfield Marsh we spotted a *Least Sandpiper*, quite a surprise. I have photos of the Pine Warbler and Least Sandpiper and will post a story board tomorrow in my blog of our cross country trip of today. We had 11 warbler species including Pine, Blackburnian and Yellow. -- Hans Toom http://www.hanstoom.com http://www.hanstoom.com/blog --Boundary_(ID_bMHL6cDM5xnpuYiiFgxMcQ) Content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-transfer-encoding: 8BIT <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> </head> <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000"> <br> <div class="moz-forward-container"><br> <br> -------- Forwarded Message -------- <table class="moz-email-headers-table" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tbody> <tr> <th align="RIGHT" nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE">Subject: </th> <td>Pine Warbler, Brown Thrasher and Least Sandpiper</td> </tr> <tr> <th align="RIGHT" nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE">Date: </th> <td>Sat, 16 May 2015 19:37:59 -0300</td> </tr> <tr> <th align="RIGHT" nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE">From: </th> <td>Hans <htoom@hfx.eastlink.ca></td> </tr> <tr> <th align="RIGHT" nowrap="nowrap" valign="BASELINE">To: </th> <td>NS-RBA@yahoogroups.com</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <br> <br> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> Laura and I spotted one <big><b><small>Pine Warbler</small></b></big> that has returned to the breeding colony(unknown size).
