Hi All, My wife and I made a trip to Miners Marsh in Kentville yesterday to see = if some of Richard=E2=80=99s birds were around. Sadly, could not get = his Wilson=E2=80=99s Warbler to stand still long enough for a good view, = let alone a photo! The trip was not a total loss as the birds that were = there were pretty photogenic. I joined local birder Lana for the walk = around the pond and she provided me with some much appreciated local = knowledge of the birds in the marsh. The two Pied-billed Grebes put on = a show with the male chasing the female across the pond =E2=80=93 not = sure why he was doing that! Later noted they were cuddling very close = with just their heads above water! Anyway, I added a few pictures of = the birds I did manage to photograph to my gallery for those who may be = interested. http://scranlocker.smugmug.com/Nature/Nature-2015/n-3GtBJ Birds noted: 1 pair Pied-billed Grebes Eastern Kingbirds Tree Swallows Canada Goose Yellow Warblers Yellow-rumped Warblers Black and White Warblers Wilson=E2=80=99s Warbler =E2=80=93 think I saw it but not very well.
