--089e013cc518fff8d505160b08dd Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Busy patch of forest this morning (14 May 2015) along the Railway Line Trail, Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., NS. 7 species of warbler, including FOY observations for both Common Yellowthroat, Northern Parula, and Chestnut-sided. Also a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker which I hadn't seen/heard for a few weeks. I had come to the conclusion that the sapsuckers were just migrants passing through. I guess I was wrong! Ebird Checklist with embedded photos: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S23434945 Sensitive ferns (Onoclea sensibilis) also popping up along the trail, nice sight to see. Also stumbled across a couple of purple trilliums (T. erectum) at Valleyview Provincial Park, north of Bridgetown last night when searching for spotted salamanders (13 May 2015). Not even a look at a salamander or eggs, I'll head up again next time there's rain.
