Two birds were shown on my web site but I haven't posted a direct link
to this species since April, 2013. So here goes. Today, May 12, I
found one of my favourite birds about halfway between Sheffield L. and
Methals L., Kings County. The bird was not in the apparent
over-wintering area known to several birders. No birds were ever seen
there this winter. However, this bird was in the same general area.
This beautiful male was very cooperative, as they often are, and I've
posted four photos. There are two head shots. None of these photos are
cropped. I've never had head shots like this before.
