<div dir=3D"ltr"><font color=3D"#000000" size=3D"6">Sue Beaver a friend of =
mine at Garden Lots was looking out the window at an American crow feeding =
on the ground. Six deer came along. The crow immediat=
ely hopped onto the back of the first one and started to peck. The de=
er soon ran off. The crow then moved to the back of the next deer in =
line and started to peck, with the same results of that deer soon leaving.&=
nbsp; The same process occurred with the remaining four deer. I can o=
nly speculate as to why this occurred. The first scenario doesn'=
t jive as the crow flew off after the deer were gone. This theory is =
that there was a good food source there that the American crow wanted =
and therefore forced the deer to move off. The second theory I have i=
s that the deer might have had parasites such as mites or ticks on their ba=
cks that the crow was after. Sue doesn't think so from the American c=
rows actions. Play by the American crow would be another potential th=
ought that comes to my mind. Anyhow, any other theories for this beha=
viour would be welcome.
<font color=3D"#000000" size=
