I don't know Lake Egmont but I notice there are roads along three = sides and one of these is just along the eastern side. The topography = suggests water fed in from swamp brooks as opposed to spring fed so I = wonder how ir fares in dry periods. When we first had a cottage at Sunken Lake in 1971 the walls and = windows were shingled with swarms of insects when lights were on at = night and the shallows in season had mob of Penny Toads and schools of = Minnows.
