I took my first hike to Duncan Reef this evening and although everything
was quiet, as expected, a gorgeous pure white adult *Glaucous Gull* flew
past me overhead the reef. No doubt the gull was thinking the weather
here was too whimpy for it and so was heading north for cooler climes.
