Saw the snow goose (the bright adult) yesterday sitting in the corn field,
on the South bank of the Habitant River from the upstairs window of our
house in Canning. Was mixed in a flock of 20 Canada geese, heading east
towards the Aboiteaux. I also did quick count of all visible Canada geese
in the field. eBird list below:

I headed out with my brother last night to look for peepers ,along the
Canning trail (the old railway line that runs east towards Pereaux from the
Canning Lions Hall. Didn't see/hear any peepers, but ended up seeing a hen
and drake wood duck floating around the pond, with a couple black ducks,
and Canada geese. If you're going to go looking for them, make sure you're
sure on your feet and wearing boots. It's presently a messy go.  eBird list
