At about 4 PM, today, April 22, there were two Brant and one Snow Goose in with Canada Geese on West Long Island Road, N. Grand Pre. If the Snow Goose is there (a white adult) you'll see it. The Brant may not be so easy. When we first saw them they were just on the other side of the flooded creek with a modest number of Canadas. However, an eagle flew over and the Brant took flight. They landed much further back, with many more Canadas, near a sort of side creek that goes S. It might be a 'scope job to find them there. They were always on land eating grass during this time. This location is about halfway between the little church and the N/S dyke road that is about halfway along West Long Island Road. Rick Whitman
