I think Sparrows did pretty well here in White Point, Queens, =
overwintering. We had a number pretty much all winter. Song, White =
Throats in particular, American Trees and occasionally a Chipping. We =
have had resident Savannahs and some that confuse me completely. The Fox =
sparrows were a real treat that stayed a bit longer than normal and in =
completely unprecedented numbers since we have been here. (24 years)=20

I had zero sparrows over-winter here this year.  The first ones to =
reappear were the song sparrow and the fox sparrow earlier this month.  =
Still have to see white-throat or any other species here (just ten =
minutes outside Bridgewater)
