Our son David, in Cole Harbour - his home backs onto Forest Hills Drive - who found a woodcock walking up his driveway on Apr 7, disturbed a woodcock behind a pile of wood logs at the back of his property on Sat Apr 18 where the snow had disappeared and exposed ground. There's a patch of wet bog in this area, and some small spruces for shelter. The woodcock seemed unconcerned about being discovered. Now he is wondering if it might possibly be the same one that remained behind to feed and recover... Cheers, Judy Tufts >>>>>>>>> Judy Tufts Wolfville NS <<<<<<<<<
