In our garden, there is a sudden burst of flowers that
usually appear
 
o
ver
the span of 
a few weeks:
Winter aconite, Snowdrop, Crocus, Spring Snowflake (Leucojum vernum)
The blooming begins wherever the snow disappears,
regardless of species.
