I was talking to someone who had been travelling on the highway near Pictou this weekend. He mentioned seeing a lot of dead deer. He felt they must be feeding so near the road as it is one of the few places there is open ground to browse. Did anyone else notice this? HIs usual excursions keep him in the southern half of the province, so the difference in the amount of deer roadkill in N NS must have stood out to him. Nancy
