  <div>
   Hi All
  </div>
  <div>
   A male widgeon joined our little flock of Blacks and Mallards today.
  </div>
  <div>
   Must have came from somewhere that he was being feed because
  </div>
  <div>
   when I put out some corn he was the first to get his share.
  </div>
  <div>
   Used to call them Baldpates - a great name but some old bald farts changed
  </div>
  <div>
   the name. Too bad folks who name ducks knew them better but what can you do!
  </div>
  <div>
   They were common in eastern PEI in the old days and nowadays lots nest in the
  </div>
  <div>
   farm ponds along the NS side of Northumberland Strait. They would always fly
  </div>
  <div>
   around the farm just at dusk calling - and they have such a beautiful call.
  </div>
  <div>
   Enjoy the spring
  </div>
  <div>
   Paul
  </div>

</body></html>
