While I've been sitting about at home Ray Staszko has been busy
surveying the birds sitting on the ice of the North-west Arm, Halifax.
He has found *Northern Pintails*(rare for this time of year) and
*Black-headed Gulls*(not rare but can be hard to find). Interestingly,
the Black-headed Gulls are in both juvenile and breeding plumages.
