I have had a Swamp Sparrow coming to my feeder daily now for about a week. =
I don't remember having one at my feeder before not even in spring migratio=
n. It is interesting to watch it as it seldom feeds on the ground like the=
tree and song sparrows, juncos and my lone white-throat. It likes the pla=
tform feeders and can defend its position there pretty good. My feeling is =
that this one is a first winter bird as well.=20
