Ian,

Sounds like fun. From the fall in Sparrows to Dickcissel:

Sept 17-20, Lark Bunting, Schooner Pond, CBRM
Oct. 5-6, Lazuli Bunting, Seal I.
Oct. 13, LeConte's Sparrow, Seal I.
Nov. 21-22, Painted Bunting, MacLellan's Brook

Also you may wish to consider Swainson's Hawk (fall, a few locations),
Red-footed Booby (summer/fall far offshore, not sure of coordinates),
Bermuda Petrel (April?, offshore), Ash-throated Flycatcher (December,
Dartmouth), Crested Caracara (January, various locations), probable
Cassin's Vireos (Nov. 30 in Yarmouth, Oct. 20 in Duncan's Cove),
Connecticut and Kentucky Warblers (Sept, Lower Sackville)

Alix d'Entremont made a blog post about rarities he encountered in 2014:
