--001a11c21ca8ba7ed7050baf4d02 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hello all and Happy New Year! Several members have helped me out in the last few months with information, opinions and photographs. Many thanks! As soon as I have copies of the articles where I used your input, I will send them to you. I have two new projects: 1) an article on New Year's resolutions made by or suggested by nature lovers such as yourselves; 2) an article on the various "salt" mixtures sold for putting on driveways, sidewalks and stairs in the winter. I see that several brands say they are safe for the environment, but I wonder... Also if you have any homemade concoctions or suggestions for alternatives to the regular commercial products, please let me know. I would appreciate having your input and permission to quote. High-res photos are always welcome, as are all comments and suggestions for future columns.
