For the flickers, Fred = is correct that the name =E2=80=9CYellow-shafted Flicker=E2=80=9D here = in the east is much more informative than =E2=80=9CNorthern Flicker=E2=80=9D= , which also includes the far-western Red-shafted and =E2=80=9Chybrid=E2=80= =9D flickers. And to Dave, nothing about you is =E2=80=9Cold=E2=80=9D except those = dated reference-books. The Internet is much less dated but always = suspicious regarding factual content.
