Andy,
Alison and I were walking Miner's Marsh about the time you were there but missed you.
Our most interesting sightings was a single female Hooded Merganser close up and a swimming Muskrat.

It was such a beautifully warm day, the Marsh trail was full of people.

Larry

SELDOM SEE AN OWL THESE DAYS AND I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF THAT IS RELATED TO THE BOX BEING FILLED WITH DEBRIS. ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO WE HAD AN ADULT, BARRED PERCH ON A LOWER LIMB NEAR THE BOTTOM OF OUR PROPERTY, AT THE EDGE OF THE WOODLAND, IT WAS WATCHING A SQUIRREL IN THE LONGER GRASS! NO CAPTURE WITNESSED.
