Index of Subjects Hi David, I think the link you want is this.. http://thechronicleherald.ca/travel/1252712-day-tripper-the-woods-can-cure-fall-blues I can't tell from the photo but I know one of the trails in that park is known for its hemlocks. When I saw the photo I was surprised because I thought (from conversations with trail users) that the hemlocks there were much bigger but there maybe other areas in the park where they are much bigger. Thank you, Donald > On Nov 22, 2014, at 5:54 PM, David & Alison Webster <dwebster@glinx.com> wrote: > > Dear All, Nov 22, 2014 > There is an article in today's paper (below) that contains an image supposedly from the Nine Mile River trail system with Hemlock implied. > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=NWF2JBb1bvM > > I have seen Lodgepole Pine only several times, all about 50 years ago, but it looks a lot like LP as I remember it and does not resemble native conifers. > > Does anyone recognize this area of the trail and do you know what the tree species is ?. > > Yt, Dave Webster, Kentville > > >
