After the celebration it is put out in the yard as extra winter = protection of some sort for birds.=20 I used to have one in a pot and after Christmas it would go into a hole = (pre dug) of the right size and then come fall I would repot it. It got = too big for me to deal with after a time. I found sometime the = transition brought bugs into the house or the tree didn=E2=80=99t seem = to take well to the temperature changes. For a time I sold a few of the = potted trees but as environmentally friendly as people like to be when = visitors come in on the tree, some get upset. Others freed their trees = and even one hopes someday their tree will be NS=E2=80=99s gift to = Boston. I wonder how that made out.=20 When I was really highly allergic to most everything, I would just use = twigs of sorts bound together and put them near a window outside with = bits of suet for birds.
