Index of Subjects I checked out Ocean Pond after 6 p.m. last night. There were no crows around, but I easily spotted what was definitely a Barred Owl, up in the oak trees. A woman who works at Dalhousie was also looking for it - she said that it had been there all day. Patricia L. They were harrassing an owl in the trees there. By the description, it was a Barred Owl. I hope to be able to check it out before sunset, as soon as I can get away from work. > > Ocean Pond is a small freshwater wetland (funded as a study site by Ocean Contractors) adjacent to the Chase Building on the Studley Campus at Dalhousie University. I have long harboured hopes of finding something interesting there, but I always thought of a rail or the like, not an owl! > > Cheers, > > Patricia L. Chalmers > Halifax
