I did not have a whole lot of time to bird today=2C but there appeared to =
be lots of activity around. I made an unintended stop at Miller's Point Pe=
ace Park on the way through to check out a group of Canada Geese in the pon=
d. There appeared to be a large movement of red-breasted nuthatches. I ha=
d 12 together in one group with a brown creeper and some other migrants. T=
here was also an American wigeon with the geese. Note: Not an easy bird t=
o get in this area.

At Kingsburg a hermit thrush. A large movement of song sparrows was presen=
t. There were also numbers of savannah sparrows and I had one Ipswich spar=
row. Shorebirds were also quite good with pectoral sandpiper=2C semi-palma=
ted sandpiper=2C black-bellied plover=2C semi-palmated plover=2C sanderling=
and a Baird's sandpiper being represented. All of the above were on Kings=
burg Beach=2C except for the hermit thrush. Also=2C one swamp sparrow. =20
