Hi All,
Nocturnal migration was steady in small numbers throughout the week. Total
flight calls recorded was down to 248 for the week. The most common bird was
Hermit Thrush with 69 night flight calls. Sparrows composed 38% of flight
calls, thrushes 34%, and warblers just 23%. The most common sparrow was
White-throated Sparrow (43 calls) and the most common warbler was Blackpoll
Warbler (14 calls). Swainson's Thrush was down to just 15 calls for the
week. There were no rare birds recorded.
