Passing along for those who asked to be notified of an event to celebrate
Barbara Hinds' life:
A memorial gathering for Barbara Hinds will be held on Sunday, Sept.28 in
the Waegwoltic Clubhouse, Halifax.
. Reception at 4 p.m.
. Celebration (formal program) at 5 p.m.
The date marks what would have been Barbara's 90th birthday. Barbara died
July 12 in Halifax, five days after suffering a stroke.
The Waegwoltic Club is located at the foot of Coburg Road, past the lights
at the intersection with Oxford Street and straight down the hill. Turn
right at the club sign. There will be signs out showing the way to the
clubhouse. Parking is next to the tennis courts. The clubhouse is the larger
white building past the parking lot, and to the left, directly behind the
tennis courts.
A public notice of her memorial will be published in the obituary column of
The Chronicle Herald closer to the date, but I wanted to let you know in
advance.
