I noticed a small (<5mm) piece of dirt hiking itself up the side of an overturned boat. Not a great pic but to me it looks like a Caddisfly larva. The head is just visible:

But this hull is up by the camp (and has been for years), 80' from any water. Would a larval Caddisfly travel that far inland to emerge? Or maybe it is something else?
