Abstract - Seiurus earolinensis (Eastern Gray Squirrel) is one of the most =
recognized seiurids
in North America. Sinee 1930, apparently isolated Nova Scotia sightings of =
Eastern Gray Squirrel
have been believed to result from captive releases or eseapes. However, the=
 speeies was
not believed to have become established in the province. Here we report fir=
st evidence that the
Eastern Gray Squirrel is now present as a breeding mammal in Nova Seotia.
