Hi All, 

Looked out the window overlooking the lake this morning and wondered why the resident Black Ducks were in the water looking wary instead of loafing on the dock. 

An American Bittern was standing on the dock!

Way cool, and a new yard bird to boot. 

A great way to start the day in Tucker Lake Beaverbank NS. .
