Index of Subjects Hi Jeffrey! Those are awesome photos. Congratulations on your new bluebird tenants! It's inspiration for the rest of us to put out more boxes, especially with the trees that have fallen down from the last storm. I suppose you'll be naming what kind of larvae the adults are bringing to the nest too? Both male and female were seen carrying food and entering the box. Thankfully the old pine the box is in was strong enough to withstand the winds of the previous weekend. I also spotted the northern mockingbird Hans had previously mentioned in alders in the blueberries on the way to Spencers Island. I have posted a few pictures on my pbase site for those interested http://www.pbase.com/jogden/image/156585516 Jeffrey Ogden BSc MSc Forest Health Specialist Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources PO Box 130 Shubenacadie, NS B0N 2H0 902 758 7015
