--001a11c2d7104ebc8a04fd346a83 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 hi folks, I'm going to retract this 'Solitary Sandpiper' sighting from 25 June. This morning I heard a similar vocalisation coming from Pied-billed Grebe ducklings, and I think there is a good chance that this is also what I heard on 25 June. I did manage to get distant recordings and I'll try to put together some spectrograms of these vs Solitary Sandpiper vs Spotted Sandpiper. I've removed the sighting from eBird as well. cheers, James.
