------=_NextPart_000_0050_01CF8FDF.AFF9B3D0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I was to Pearl Island on Saturday and Sambro Island on Monday and the birding was fabulous on both days. I just added a new Pearl Island, Sambro folder to my Birds Shared folder. The folder should be right at the top if you click on the link to my Birds Shared folder below. It was a first for me going to places like that and it sure won't be the last. Pearl Island had more interesting species but unfortunately it was cloudy while we were there so it wasn't great for photography, but you might be interested in seeing the plethora of birds there right now (or were there on Saturday as I see a Sunday checklist did not include Razorbills). Our Sambro Island trip was excellent for photography and the birds were generously obliging. I recently bought my first DSLR so while my photos are greatly improving they are of course not on the level of the great bird photographers that post here, especially the Pearl Island photos. Note that 2 of the Arctic Terns on Sambro Island have both of their legs banded. They are possibly the same bird but the photos were taken more than 4 hours apart so I'm not sure. It was great to the colonies on both islands thriving, the Black Guillemot and Arctic Terns were finding food at will on Monday. Does anyone know what the flat, red worm is that one of the guillemots is hanging on to?
