Hi Peter
I picked up a squirrel tail yesterday under my big red maple. Looked like someone had the rest of the squirrel for lunch - maybe an owl. It was unusually and beautifully marked. Not a red squirrel but probably a flying squirrel.
On another note I saw a puddle of Swallowtail Butterflies yesterday - maybe 25 in all. It was on a backroad near Keji. Unfortunately I remembered my camera too late!
Have a nice June
Paul

There's a Flying Squirrel on our peanut feeder now. This is the second
visit we've seen in a week, but of course it could have been here more
often than that. We've arranged things so that Red Squirrels find it
almost impossible to get to that particular feeder, but for Flying
Squirrels it's no problem - just a short glide from the nearest tree.
