Here is a note from the BirdTrax developer,: "*Updated as of Tuesday 5/20 p.m.:* BirdTrax is temporarily down due to an eBird API update. Revising the BirdTrax code to source these functional updated APIs did not resolve the issue, so the outage persists. I am using every spare minute I have to fix this issue, so your patience is greatly appreciated! I appreciate all the thoughtful bug reports (and compliments on the gadget), but please realize that a solution is hopefully on the way shortly.
