Hi all:
=20
This is what Ian Manning has come up with for me. =20
I ran this through my Roland's Key. My best guess is Marsh Marigold (Caltha=
palustris). The range map in the book (which is due for a revision) states=
it's only found in Cape Breton County. But upon a further search=2C it loo=
ks like there has been some introduced populations seen in Mahone Bay=2C an=
d other locations in Lunenburg Co. I think it's safe to assume that if this=
is C. palustris=2C that it's origin is likely human caused. I'd like to he=
ar what others think. =20
=20
I also would like to hear your comments on this species. =20
