Especially of it in = flight and what looks like calling from the posture or coughing up a = pellet ??? Just guessing ! About 11-12 yrs ago when we had a Snowy Owl irruptive year and there = was a resident HP Snowy I was keeping tabs on it .As we use to live down = by HP and I frequently saw it .=20 That Snowy stayed well into the last week of the month of May before it = was noticeably absent . Back then I had collected many pellets to see = what it was feeding on .=20 The biggest prey I saw it take out was what I believe to be was a TB = Murre. From those remains I found 1 wing and webbed foot interestingly. Obviously well fed to have stayed so long . And possibly the same = conditions for the present HP Snowy.
