Got this from my sister, who lives in the Kootney's in BC. wonderful live shot. The back story is that the ospreys were trying to nest on a hydro pole. The hydro company put up a new pole for them about 20 feet away from the live pole, and then moved all of their nesting stuff over there. The osprey's settled right in, and now have a large following. Columbia Wireless and Nelson Hydro have installed a really nice web cam on the side of an Osprey Nest just 2km west of Nelson and we have just gone live with the feed directly from the nest!! Check it out at: http://columbiawireless.ca There is a fresh egg as of this morning sometime!! Unfortunately we didn't get the recording online fast enough, but we now have the web cam recording directly to our server room in Nelson.
