Today’s dawn brought the sun and (probably) the three Fox Sparrows that have been feeding voraciously beneath my feeders since last Wednesday. The usual crowd of Ch’dees, Juncos, RB Nuthatch, Purple Finches (who are also singing), Goldfinches are here and a Raven did a low pass over the area where he (or his twin) scored a recently deceased Red Squirrel last week. That Spring! is about to envelope us was signalled by an adult rabbit munching parsley in the kitchen garden. Mike McCall
