Noticeable is very dark birds - the head right to the tail a very dark br= own instead of the usually lighter shades that we see. The breast is a very= dark red also.=0AI don't know if that is just variations in the color or i= f they are a different sub species.=0AGrackles are flying around also but n= o Rusty birds so far. always nice to see them in the evening.=0AFox Sparrow= s are here to - several scratching in clear spots under the rhodies and the= y seem to be feeding on something. Might be rhodo seed that has fallen to t= he ground. American tree sparrows feed of the seed pods in winter but the o= nes on the plants have fallen.=0AThe Fox sparrows only seen to be here an o= ccasional spring.
