Hi All=0ALots of=A0 Robins between Chester and Mahone Bay the last few days=
. Noticeable is very dark birds - the head right to the tail a very dark br=
own instead of the usually lighter shades that we see. The breast is a very=
dark red also.=0AI don't know if that is just variations in the color or i=
f they are a different sub species.=0AGrackles are flying around also but n=
o Rusty birds so far. always nice to see them in the evening.=0AFox Sparrow=
s are here to - several scratching in clear spots under the rhodies and the=
y seem to be feeding on something. Might be rhodo seed that has fallen to t=
he ground. American tree sparrows feed of the seed pods in winter but the o=
nes on the plants have fallen.=0AThe Fox sparrows only seen to be here an o=
ccasional spring. My Grandparents on PEI felt that was also the case in the=
 old days.=0AEnjoy the spring=0APaul
