Thanks for your comments. I got thinking about the black eyes and every =
picture of a GG
shows yellow eyes. But it was soooooo gray and looked so big.. So after =
flailing through every bird book I=92ve
got I now know it was a Barred. The fact that there are quite a few =
Barred Owls in and
around our property helps support the Barred ID.

So don=92t come looking for a GG; pass by if you want to chat and look =
at some
much less exciting birds.
