Yesterday (Saturday, February 15) I covered a number of coastal sites betwe=
en the Lahave River and the Blue Rocks area. Waterfowl were abundant and ap=
peared to be building up.

Highlights: a Fox Sparrow at a feeder in Kingsburg; a pair of Pintail in a =
traditional spot at Upper Blue Rocks; and a drake Gadwall with Blacks and M=
allards (also 5 American Wigeon) along Tannery Road in Lunenburg.

A small flock of scaup in Lunenburg harbour was made up of 6 Lessers and a =
Greater, while a flock of 110 alongside the Mason's Beach Road contained ab=
out 75% Greater and 25% Lesser.
