Index of Subjects I have four wooly bears in grass and leaves in a large plastic jar with holes drilled in the cap, in my garden shed. There are sites you can google about overwintering them; they stress that they should spend the winter outdoors (rather than bring them into a warm house). I've found all four of these alive since Christmas, some of them on top of the snow. Eventually (if all goes well), they should spin a cocoon of their own hair, and then emerge as moths. Chris
