Also at my parents' feeders in Bridgewater: I just watched a Downy Woodpecker fly in to confront a lone Starling feeding on the suet. This small male raised its wings up and pummelled the Starling multiple times w/ its beak until it finally flew off. It was quite a savage-looking tussle and lasted about a half a minute. Nancy
