Little did I realize I would be heading into a little mini-blizzard which pretty well obstructed any view of the lake or near-by trees for interesting birds. </div> <div> However, even though the binoculars weren't of much use with the whipping snow blowing across the surface of the lake I did get a pretty good look at 2 adult Bald Eagles and one really large juvenile (along with the usual crowd of crows) all on the surface feeding on something. I couldn't tell what it was. </div> <div> One of the adults took off and flew up over Silvers Hill and the other flew to another spot on the ice further away from the youngster and the crows. </div> <div> So I, along with 'Dash' and 'JJ Jones' in tow, continued down around Sullivan's Pond. A couple of Gulls but I couldn't tell really what type, Mallards and Widgeons. </div> <div> A good walk none-the-less. The highlight was the Bald Eagles, though! </div> <div>   </div> <div> Sincerely, </div> <div>   </div> <div> Gayle MacLean </div> <div> Dartmouth </div> </body></html>
