I had some spare time at the Milton Laundromat in Yarmouth about 9 A.M.
today, so wandered down to the head of the harbour where sat a huge raft of
Canada Geese. No strange goose species interspersed, but besides the
mallards and odd black duck were three male American widgeon and one
gadwall.

Yesterday's noon tide, the laudromat attendant, crept up into their parking
lot. Levels sound comparable with the Groundhog Day surge of '76.
Yesterday's blow didn't approach the force of the Groundhog Day winds.
Climate change deniers, take note.

Otherwise, Mr. likely Cooper's shot through again early this morning.
Didn't catch anything. Largish size and rounded tail make me suspicious,
but the terminal white band isn't prominent.
